A Decent Lunch in New Orleans

For lunch in New Orleans the following day, we had dined at a restaurant entitled the Palace Cafe. The restaurant is part of a hotel that is located nearby. I had went in to the restaurant with expectations for the food to be decent. This was largely based on a mix of the great quality of the alligator sausage omelette that I had eaten and devoured the day before and the spicier than expected quality of the pasta with Andouille sausage, crawfish tails, and Gulf Shrimp that I had also consumed the day before. I had ordered a Palace Pot Pie which had consisted of mashed potatoes over pulled pork debris and topped with cheddar cheese and some wilted spinach. I honestly did not dislike the meal but I was not particularly impressed with it. I considered the taste and quality of the food to be mediocre.
